Workmark on your Mac
Workmark is a personal office-time app. It does not require an account, send your office record to a server, include app analytics, or provide employer reporting.
The app stores chosen office Wi-Fi names, recorded session timestamps, manual day corrections, and your goal and calendar settings locally using macOS storage.
Wi-Fi names and Location Services
macOS requires Location Services permission to read the current Wi-Fi network name (SSID). Workmark compares that name with the office networks you selected to decide whether to record a session.
Workmark does not collect or store coordinates, Wi-Fi passwords, BSSID (access-point identifiers), or a history of networks you have not selected as office networks. Results from a manual search for nearby Wi-Fi names stay in memory until the app exits.
Wi-Fi association describes your Mac’s network connection, not your physical presence.
Access, retention, and removal
Your record remains in the app’s local storage until you remove it. You can review records and correct a day’s total in Workmark. To remove all local records, use the app’s Delete all data action in Settings.
Your own Mac backups may retain copies after local deletion. Manage those copies through your backup tools. We cannot retrieve, alter, or delete your local app record remotely.
This website
This is a static information website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The site code does not set analytics cookies, include advertising trackers, load third-party fonts, or provide a signup form.
Delivering a website still involves processing request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser headers. Cloudflare may process this information to deliver and protect the website under its own policies. This is separate from Workmark’s local app storage.
Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its services. The final website policy must reflect the hosting and logging configuration actually enabled at launch.
When you contact support
If you choose to email support, you provide your email address and whatever you include in the message. Include only information needed to explain the problem; do not send Wi-Fi passwords or sensitive office records.
Support correspondence is separate from the app’s local record. You can reach support at support@kilkalabs.com. The final policy will identify the legal publisher and support-message retention practices before release.
App Store and other links
Following the App Store link takes you to Apple’s services, where Apple’s privacy terms apply. The same principle applies to other external links.
Changes
This page will be updated if Workmark’s data handling changes. Before publishing a final policy, the publisher must review it against the released app and website and add the effective date and contact details.
